Following on from his portyayal of Arthur Kipps in our 2013 production of Half a Sixpence leading man Phil Swift was given the part of Prince Charming in Preston`s professional pantomime
- Stacy Houldsworth who played Guinevere in our 2012 production of Camelot now reads the news on Wave FM.
- Former recent members of SAPOS have gone on to form popular profession singing groups - Trident and Smooth Chalk
- Alfie Boe was in the SAPOS production of the Sound of Music in 1989 playing Rolf.
- Dorothy Cartmell and Alison Thornton have been in the society since its inception in 1970 and Alison is still only 39!!
