Well its the week of the show. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work especially Mr Kipps who manages to still have the energy to keep going when the rest of us are flagging. It will be a fantastic show - just enjoy it and so will the audience. x

First proper rehearsal last Sunday with full cast and even though many were missing due to other shows we managed to set the opening number - others will have to catch up. Note to self - do not sing the Fa la la bit to the tune of Deck the halls!!

Accidents always come in 3`s

Last week we performed the concert - Crazy Bout the Music 3 and as it was a makeshift stasge we made sure everone was familiar with any problems.

Little did we know that there would be 3 accidents and none of them the fault of the staging thanks to Sue and her team.

Firstly Lindsay slipped and went flying in ther ladies following a leak - very showbiz - Not!

Next Suzy Q had a major wardrobe malfunction in It should have been me which led to her landing in a heap - luckily the audience thought it was part of the number due to her professionalism.

Then Tommy who has had a bad shoulder turned during one of the dance numbers but his partner did not let go of his hand which led to lots of pain and him missing most of the numbers with any movement in.

Lastly the men came off stage after the first number to find that the dressing room with all their costumes and props in had been locked. Luckily Mandy P came to the rescue and let them in before they missed anything.

And the audience didn`t notice a thing - a good night was had by all (even the 3 cast now covered in bruises) and we raised £250.
